Models with extended thinking (e.g. Claude Sonnet 5.5, Opus 5.5) think before they answer, so a low value can be used up by thinking alone; the component then fails with a message that the answer was cut off instead of returning an empty answer. Use at least a few thousand tokens for these models. |
