Create a customer, optionally with an address, email marketing consent, tax exemptions and metafields.

First Name text The customer's first name.
Last Name text The customer's last name.
Email text The customer's email address. Must be unique in the store.
Phone text The customer's phone number in E.164 format, for example +16135551111. Must be unique in the store.
Note textarea A note about the customer.
Tags text Comma-separated tags, for example "VIP, wholesale".
Subscribe to Email Marketing toggle Record that the customer agreed to receive marketing emails (single opt-in). Needs an email address.
First Name text First name on the address. Defaults to the customer's first name.
Last Name text Last name on the address. Defaults to the customer's last name.
Company text Company name.
Address Line 1 text Street and house number.
Address Line 2 text Apartment, suite or floor.
City text City.
Province Code text Province or state code, for example ON or CA. Required for countries with provinces (US, Canada, …).
Country Code text Two-letter ISO country code, for example US or CZ. The address is added only when at least one address field is filled in.
ZIP / Postal Code text ZIP or postal code.
Phone text Phone number for the address.
Tax Exempt toggle Whether the customer is exempt from paying taxes on their orders.
Tax Exemptions multiselect Specific tax exemptions (Canada, US resellers, EU reverse charge).
Metafields expression Custom data stored on the customer. A metafield with the same namespace and key is overwritten.
